ABOUT ME

Picture
I am the Coordinator for the Online Spanish Program at the University of Florida. I received my PhD from Rutgers University where I focused on the intersection of cognition and second language acquisition. I also hold a Masters in Education and am a certified K-12 Spanish teacher (PA & NJ). I have taught basic, intermediate, and advanced Spanish language and linguistics courses at the primary, secondary, undergraduate and graduate level in face-to-face, online, hybrid, study abroad, and service learning contexts. In my courses, I capitalize on the advantages of digital tools and virtual environments to offer a variety of media rich lesson plans to foster growth and understanding of the target language through personalized and individualized instruction.
